Glenn’s Piano Blog #54 - “Table Talk”

After a brief hiatus, I'm happy to say that Glenn's Piano Blog is back! I'll be posting a new video here every month for the next while. (Unfortunately I won't be able to maintain weekly posts anymore!) And in the meantime, there's a backlog of weekly posts from 2016, totaling 53 videos, so feel free to check them out at my YouTube channel.

Earlier this year I released my second trio record as a leader, "Fellowship". It features Dezron Douglas on bass and Craig Weinrib on drums, which is the same band that played on 2015's "My Ideal", although this new record features mostly my original music. For the next several episodes of the blog, I'll be playing all of the music from "Fellowship".

First up is "Table Talk". I finished writing this tune in my hometown of Worcester, MA, so I decided to name it after a product famously made there.

The sheet music for “Table Talk” is available in “The Glenn Zaleski Collection”, that is available here.

The album “Fellowship” is available on all major streaming platforms, as well as on an old fashioned CD that you can order right here.
