Glenn’s Piano Blog #57 - “Fellowship”

New "Glenn's Piano Blog" video up today.

I've been playing the music from "Fellowship", my recently released trio record, and for this episode I'm playing the title track. In 2015 I was invited by by alma mater, the Brubeck Institute, to be a guest with that year's quintet for a special concert in NYC. I decided to write something for the occasion, and defying the urge to write the most burning thing imaginable, this dark and introspective ballad is what came out. (Needless to say, it was no match for the young BIJQ!)

You can get the sheet music to this song in “The Glenn Zaleski Collection”, available here.

And the album “Fellowship” is available on all major streaming platforms, as well as on an old-fashioned CD that you can order here.
